Responsibilities
  • Sell On Campus and Corporate Memberships for Advertising Age
  • Sell Datacenter subscriptions for corporate research
  • Identify prospects from via customer database and other sources
  • Establish and maintain new and existing accounts through database management, lead tracking and ongoing touch points
  • Identify key customer challenges and create strategic plans for meeting revenue goals
  • Convert incoming requests to sales through active listening, education on content licensing and matching clients with appropriate products/services
  • Work with creative and operations teams for product development and fulfillment
  • Advise on lead-generation tactics
  • Oversee billing and related tasks to ensure good client relations
Ideal Candidate
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in BtoB sales, classified sales, publishing, advertising, or related sales experience.
  • Excellent persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with newspaper and magazine publishing a plus
  • Entrepreneurial and a creative thinker - a strong closer with a winning attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have experience with the Microsoft office suite
