Membership Sales Consultant

(New York, New York)- Sell On Campus and Corporate Memberships for Advertising Age
- Sell Datacenter subscriptions for corporate research
- Identify prospects from via customer database and other sources
- Establish and maintain new and existing accounts through database management, lead tracking and ongoing touch points
- Identify key customer challenges and create strategic plans for meeting revenue goals
- Convert incoming requests to sales through active listening, education on content licensing and matching clients with appropriate products/services
- Work with creative and operations teams for product development and fulfillment
- Advise on lead-generation tactics
- Oversee billing and related tasks to ensure good client relations
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in BtoB sales, classified sales, publishing, advertising, or related sales experience.
- Excellent persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with newspaper and magazine publishing a plus
- Entrepreneurial and a creative thinker - a strong closer with a winning attitude
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must have experience with the Microsoft office suite
