Supervisor, Electrician - Plant Operations

• Assists Director within administrative functions of the Electrical Systems in hiring/firing of personnel
• Completes Employee Orientation and Training for Regulatory Standards and Job Training.
• Maintains clean and safe work environments.
• Plans, organizes, schedules, and evaluates all work for Electrical Systems.
• Provides leadership and direction on maintenance / repair operations for Electrical Training,
• Supervising and Motivating personnel
• Performs scheduled Preventive Maintenance, Inspections, and Tests on Equipment
• Monitors and inspects equipment.
• Performs hospital equipment repairs and service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provides leadership and coordination in preparation and monitoring of Electrical Systems.
• Maintains inventory of parts and material.
• Responds to electrical emergencies.
• Performs maintenance calls and associated duties in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner.

• High School Diploma
• Three to five years experience in industrial hospital electrical
• Prior supervisory experience approved
• Read Blueprints / wiring diagrams
• Journeyman's license
• Good mechanical / technical aptitude
• Familiar with tools and test equipment used in the electrical trade
• Accepts responsibility and able to work independently
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with President and other Administrative Staff, Department Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and to respond to directives.
• Ability to interact appropriately with all staff, patients, and visitors.
• Able to drive pickup, van and flat bed trucks
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, e-mail, etc.)
