Commodity Representative

• Receive, verify and process commodity orders and maintain accurate, detailed records and files for each.
• Enter and maintain specific account data as well as balances for each customer in web based system.
• Communicate professionally and timely with work unit, brokers, sales, customers, state offices and warehousing.
• Resolve issues, respond to inquiries and provide requested data related to USDA Foods program.
• Work with brokers and regional sales managers to compile pertinent bid information and competitive pricing.
• Comprehend and complete all aspects of preparing and submitting bids.

• Must be proficient in excel – intermediate to advanced.
• Excellent math skills.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Strong communication skills with customers and co-workers.

Education / Experience

• Accounting experience required.
• Two (2) to three (3) years relevant experience.
• Associates Degree or equivalent
