Senior Software Engineer: C#, C++, .Net

The successful candidates will be working on our flagship product, ActiveBatch®. ActiveBatch® is a best-in-class Cross-Platform Enterprise Workload Automation and Job Scheduling system geared to high performance with customers running over 1 Million jobs per day. With over 1500 customers in over 46 countries around the world and a strong demand for our products and services, we know that we need strong people to help us achieve our goals of producing the highest quality software using the most efficient processes.

* Candidates must be able to work independently as well as within a group in a collaborative environment as you will be part of a Scrum Development team. Our Scrum teams endeavor to be cross-functional so you’ll work on many different projects using various leading edge technologies. Experience with or knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices would be a plus. * The successful candidate must be very knowledgeable about the Microsoft Team Foundation Server environment and Visual Studio 2008 (or higher). * Proven expertise in the .Net Framework, C#, C++ and be familiar with WCF, WPF/XAML, XML and many other web based technologies. * Strong database knowledge. For high performance, ActiveBatch uses Stored Procedures and Functions that are written in T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) and PL-SQL (Oracle). The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in at least one of those databases. * Implemented Web Services (SOAP/WSDL or REST). * Candidates must show attention to detail, positive attitude, the ability to learn and to be challenged, and to take pride in quality, performance and timeliness.

* Minimum requirements include: 5+ years engineering experience. * BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent work experience). * Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be ambitious and be willing to take ownership of what you work on. * Experience with non-Microsoft systems (our products are cross-platform) is a plus.
