Advanced Practice Solutions is a healthcare staffing and placement firm that provides professional Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners with exceptional opportunities across the U.S. PA / Physician Assistant with a strong cardiology background and experience with Electrophysiology (EP) would be an ideal background for this outstanding opportunity to join a state of the art facility. A bonus would be a background where the Physician Assistant would have experience in managing arrhythmia patients with implantable devices (pacemaker and ICD)
Responsibilities
* PA / Physician Assistant will evaluate and treats patients with acute and chronic complaints related to specialty, according to written standardized procedures * PA / Physician Assistant will obtain complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients * PA / Physician Assistant will obtain interval histories and performs pertinent examinations on return patients. * PA / Physician Assistant will Initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges and completes appropriate paperwork. * PA / Physician Assistant facilitates the coordination of inpatient and outpatient care and services as needed
Ideal Candidate
* Clear PA Licensure * Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) * Demonstrated ability to function both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals * Electrophysiology (EP) is not required but a huge plus! * Highly developed clinical, communication and interpersonal skills essential * Active California Licensure * Master s Degree
