Mobile - Android Engineer

AddThis is looking for someone with deep native app building experience that is able to build tools for other developers as well as end users. The ideal candidate will be extremely curious, versatile and open to collaborating with a top-notch engineering team. We are looking for an ambitious mobile developer that can contribute to our app development work in a fun and stimulating environment.

* Design and develop mobile applications and application components for Android and mobile web applications in an agile environment. * Play a key role in the future of AddThis mobile app technology products by working closely with product management, design and other key stakeholders to guide solution development. * Think strategically about delivering the solution that powers our business, and drive key technology requirements of mobile applications.

* BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience * At least three years of work experience in mobile application development * Significant programming experience in Java and the Android SDK * Deep technical knowledge of mobile application development * Experience with certificates, signing, and submitting apps for Android in the Play Store * Knowledge of UI frameworks , MVP application design, and complex, reactive touch-based UI * Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for embedded systems. * Must be self-motivated, driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional, agile environment
