UX Designer

We are looking for a UX Designer who will report directly to the design lead and will assist in the creation and design exploration for future site features. The ideal candidate has a diversified design experience that includes both visual, responsive and interaction design, with a portfolio to prove it.

• Create design creative from concept through production – from sketches, to user flows, to wireframes, to mockups, to high-fidelity comps, to prototype, to development
• Contribute to architecture schematics, interaction design documentation, wireframes and style guides
• Work closely with engineering teams and product owners to iterate quickly within an agile environment.
• Collaborate closely with the broader design team to ensure alignment between short term and longer term projects.

• 3+ years of professional experience in interactive web design, e-commerce design, and print design including really strong communication/presentation skills.
• Strong portfolio required – including examples of visual design as they apply them to their UX work and includes project work (narrative on how they achieved project outcome)
• Experienced in responsive design principles and mobile-first design philosophy
• Up-to-date knowledge on current trends on the web from a design, technology and interaction point of view
• Proven ability to prioritize, thrive in a dynamic creative environment, and oversee multiple projects at once
• Experience leading the design, development and execution of user research and usability testing
• Highly organized, strong attention
