Summary
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced UI Implementation Artist / Developer to impact the future of one of the industry’s most successful franchises through your talent, creativity, technical ability and knowledge. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Silverlight or Expression Blend Implementation Artist / Developer who works in XAML and will help craft HUD and front end menu UI. While this is not an engineering role, we do expect a technically adept developer that can quickly adapt to in-house tools and script environments. Game development experience is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
* Translate complex UX wireframe diagrams and UI visual concepts and accurately bring them to life. * Work closely with UI engineers, game designers, visual designers, and motion designers to generate beautiful, intuitive, and dynamic interfaces. * Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to ensure interfaces are implemented to visual and functional expectations. * Work with other design developers to continue to refine the implementation process and further develop the toolset.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience authoring pixel-perfect data-driven dynamic-layouts, storyboards and transitions in XAML. * Understands XAML development best practices, including resource dictionaries, data templating, styles, and code organization. * Portfolio demonstrating SketchFlow rapid prototyping in Microsoft Expression Blend. * Eager to work onsite in a rapid, agile, iterative, collaborative development environment. * Familiar with toolset that includes Microsoft Expression Studio Ultimate, Visual Studio, CodeFlow, TFS, Adobe Creative Suite. * Known for being a self-starter with amazing work ethic who works equally well within a structured team. * Experienced in working from visual comps, redlined materials, motion designs and/or style guides. * Sensitivity and discerning eye for typography and graphic design, background in design a plus. * Easily adapts to design changes and/or requirements while maintaining a positive attitude. * Proficient in communicating with other team members and collaborators in other departments. * Passion for cross platform UI and games. * 4+ years experience developing web experiences, mobile applications, or games in a professional environment.
