For more information visit www.actuant.com. **Business Contribution:** Creates, plans, directs, and coordinates all processes within the Hydratight Rental/Repair Center environment: Develops, evaluates, and improves methods and processes, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication and assembly processes, tooling and testing equipment capabilities, inventory management processes, quality control standards and safety standards This position is responsible for all Rental/Repair related processes with improvement targets in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery. Is the overall process owner for all processes within the rental environment in all rental facilities.

* Evaluates Rental/Refurbishment processes by collecting and analyzing factual data, developing and applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials through conferring with design engineers and key centers of excellence representatives. * Develops various Rental/Refurbishment and asset related processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment * Improves productivity efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout. * Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming all rental related processes. * Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements. * Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. . * Provides Industrial Engineering information by answering questions and requests. * Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. * Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service. * Maintains product and process data information to effectively measure productivity * Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians in appropriate processes * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Shares best practice information with all appropriate personnel to assure standardization of processes across all rental locations globally * Develops and manages the training matrix for repair technicians

* Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university or Associates Degree combined with related experience in manufacturing environment * Ability to effectively work and lead in a team environment * 3-5 years industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment * Excellent people skills with the ability to lead, coach and motivate team members * Knowledgeable in inventory management, rental or warehouse management and managing people in a manufacturing or operational environment * Excellent computer skills * Customer focused * Ability to lead and take initiative in managing projects * Proficient project management skills * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and process documentation * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Constantly displays integrity and respect to others at all levels
