Integration Developer

ActiveProspect is a marketing Software as a Service (Saas) platform that instantly qualifies internet leads. We help marketers automate their unique processes for acquiring qualified sales leads, building accurate email subscriber lists, and providing superior transparency for legal compliance. Each month, millions of opt-in Internet leads are processed on the ActiveProspect platform on behalf of customers across a wide range of industries.

ActiveProspect is seeing a junior developer to help build out integrations for our main product, LeadConduit. This is a great position to help a get your career in development started. This position requires a solid base of development skills, but will create a stepping stone for the employee to move into product development over time.

The role of integration developer requires the ability to build and implement API integrations (think Zapier Zaps) in a timely fashion from idea to fully-usable in production with minimal support, and sometimes with little documentation. This includes understanding the business case, implementing the necessary code and tests, publishing the code, and making sure that user experience is good. Although there will be some initial support from senior team members, independence is critical for success in this role.

• Experience with JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js (comprehension of CoffeeScript a plus)
• Experience working with third-party APIs
• 1-2 years experience working a development role
• The hunger to learn and the tenacity to work through hard problems on your own
• The ability to meet deadlines and be thorough in your work
