Summary
The ideal Digital Marketing Specialist will be knowledgeable about marketing technologies and passionate about driving results. This is highly important as you will be responsible for the managing all the digital marketing activities of our company. You’ll participate in strategic marketing planning as well as messaging, creative, and sales enablement projects. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. This is an operational role responsible for getting things done. This includes being responsible for managing all of our marketing tools, coordinating the marketing calendar, managing social presence and tracking and reporting performance to the team. You’ll be the point person for the key tools we use to manage our marketing efforts including Unbounce (landing pages), Sharpspring (marketing automation), SalesForce (CRM), LeadConduit (lead integration & verification), and Google Analytics (tracking). Someone with an aptitude for technology who enjoys setting up marketing campaigns within tools and optimizing them for continued success will do well in this role.
Responsibilities
* Own the process of ongoing communications with our customers and prospects via our website, blog, newsletter, social media and other relevant channels * Manage the content timelines to ensure that all content providers are meeting deadlines for necessary marketing efforts. * Own and grow brand awareness including social media presence * Coordinate site updates with Internal WordPress contact for our website. * Support the needs of our sales team to help supply them qualified leads. * You will maintain our presence on software review sites (G2Crowd, etc) * Manage our PPC agency relationship. * Work closely with the graphic designer and developer to execute our marketing projects * Propose new initiatives to improve our online marketing efforts and presence. Own the execution of these initiatives, including coordination of internal and external resources where needed. * Create and communicate estimates for projects, drive the schedule and keep key parties informed of changes to plans and timelines. * Plan, execute, and measure our participation in conferences, trade shows and virtual events * Analyze and optimize our email marketing efforts, from email capture to drip campaigns to conversion * Report on the effectiveness and ROI of our marketing activity * Define, build and manage standardized tracking and analytics for website performance and lead generation campaigns, including PPC, email and events. * Track and report on the performance of all marketing channels, and make recommendations based on findings. * Help manage and maintain the marketing database and marketing automation tools. * Manage the production and archiving of sales and marketing materials
Ideal Candidate
**To Succeed in this Role You'll Need:** * Entry-level (internship) or early career (1-3 years) experience in an analyst or coordinator role. * A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or general business. * Demonstrable experience and aptitude with marketing metrics and tracking tools like Google Analytics, and with MailChimp or a comparable ESP. Experience with marketing automation systems (e.g. Marketo, Hubspot) a plus. * Familiarity and interest in tools such as Unbounce * Very strong written communication skills and an eye for detail * Excellent people skills **Bonus Points** * Lead generation / demand generation industry experience * Domain expertise in the marketing technology ecosystem around online lead generation * Technically savvy. Understands HTML, CSS, etc.
