Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating multiple projects through all project phases for Achieve3000’s online instructional platform and related operational initiatives. This includes working closely with the software development team to ensure product requirements are translated into technology solutions and delivered in a timely fashion to meet the defined business objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for managing project resources, change requests, risks and issues to ensure that maximum business benefits are maintained.
Responsibilities
* Manage software development projects in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment * Lead development teams in planning, estimating, managing and delivering all activities for project * Actively work with cross functional team to ensure all aspects of project are delivered * Ensure projects remain on time and on budget and are well communicated within the organization * Identify and track key project milestones * Monitor and communicate the progress of project delivery and ensure timely and effective communication of project status * Proactively anticipate, identify and communicate project risks and issues * Manage day to day aspects of project delivery
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of project management experience preferably in a software development environment using Agile practices * Strong working knowledge of project management processes and toolsets * ScrumMaster certification a plus * Self-starter with the ability to work independently * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills * Preferably BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Working Conditions

Travel: If working remotely, visits to New Jersey will be required (approximate 4-6 times per year)
