**A day in the life…** **What the day to day of the role looks like:** * Design and train models for Accolade software, helping clients reach the best health care easily and efficiently. * Study patterns in client behavior to improve Accolade business processes and efficiencies, as well as driving optimal health outcomes. * Apply mathematics and machine learning to revolutionizing the health care system. **What type of projects will you support?** * Collaborate in a rapidly evolving ecosystem of partners poised to radically transform the industry. * Invent new algorithms and technologies to address client needs and streamline business efficiency. **What key things will you accomplish?** * Deliver intelligent features to mobile and desktop applications, directly improving the quality of hundreds of thousands or millions of lives. * Propagate machine intelligence and analytics across Accolade’s new product suite.

**What will you need to accomplish to be successful in this role?** * Expertise with large-scale machine learning techniques and languages, such as R and/or Python * Ability to write and debug SQL queries. * Relevant industry / academia experience in software development and full product life-cycles * Advanced coursework in some of: probability, statistics, machine learning, or mathematical modeling.
