Summary
Analytics professionals create new insights from predictive statistical modeling activities that target and deliver value to our clients. The Analytics and Modeling Specialist gathers, analyzes and models client data (customers, financials, operational, organizational, access channel), key performance indicators, and/or market data (competitors, products, suppliers), using a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to develop quantitative and qualitative business insights and improve decision-making.
Responsibilities
Develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and mock shells for clinical studies and integrated summaries ISS ISE . Collaborate with programmers and perform quality review of statistical deliverables. Participate in the review of clinical protocols and case report forms including preparation of statistical sections, sample size calculations, randomization, and potential interim analyses. Interact with project managers in planning timelines for statistical deliverables. Interact with clients across multiple therapeutic areas. Collaborate with co workers on technical matters and process improvement. Actively participate and support the efforts to grow the clinical statistics business unit. Pharmaceuticals Processes professionals enable the processes involved in creating a new drug/therapeutic agent, from initial R and D to manufacturing/distribution to marketing/sales and all related processes. Clinical Data Management professionals manage data for clinical trials such as study set-up, study maintenance and close-out. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** Master s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field medical statistics background. Minimum 2 years statistical or analytical experience in industry preferably healthcare related , including some experience writing documents such as clinical protocols, SAPs, study reports. Experience should also include working in a cross functional team environment. Technical ability in clinical biostatistics and insight into current new methods in clinical trials. Excellent communication presentation skills. Ability to multi task, meet timelines, and attention to detail. Knowledge of ICH and FDA Guidances. Familiarity with CDISC standards SDTM, ADaM . **Professional Skill Requirements** Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Accenture (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status).
