Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing non-search marketing recommendations for clients who are looking to bring highly qualified traffic to their website. This person will work closely with the various leaders of other marketing disciplines (paid search, organic search) to ensure we’re leveraging multi-channel performance when determining individual media channel effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate possess a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and is highly trained on leveraging marketing planning tools to produce persuasive, data-driven rationale for a media plan. This person will be experienced in cross-training team members from other disciplines and have knowledge of how different marketing channels impact one another. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing marketing programs, supporting the executive team with persuasive marketing recommendations for new business opportunities, and presenting media expansion opportunities to existing clients.
Ideal Candidate
* Min 2 years of hands-on experience executing social media buys and producing performance reports that measure frequency and conversion for all engagement actions * Min 2 years experience negotiating display media buys and executing media buys using multiple/different DSP technologies and associated software costs, benefits, features, and limitations **Preferred Qualifications:** * Expert understanding of the different display creative types and placement tactics and how/when they’re appropriate based on the client’s objectives * Review KPI reports and translate trends into meaningful insights to explain business performance fluctuations * Guide agency in evaluating and selecting tools/technologies that can streamline workflow, automate reporting, and inform decision making * Has experience leveraging research tools to fuel effective and strategic media plans that achieve client’s goals * Very Experienced with building and installing engagement tracking mechanisms such as clicktags, and can be resourceful to identify tracking/tagging solutions for new media/content types (i.e. Vimeo video engagement tracking) * Understands the basic principles and has been exposed to the strategic application of all media channels including paid search, organic search, email marketing, social marketing, etc. * Has proactive project management skills and experience to take projects from concept to completion * Owns some but not significant knowledge of website coding, server technology, and basic digital tracking mechanisms (i.e. data layers, etc.) **Professional Skill Requirements** Good financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnosis skills. Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill
