Become a member of Acadia's underwriting department and have a direct impact on helping our customers and helping us reach our strategic goals. As a Senior Underwriter, you'll build relationships and work closely with independent agents. You will be responsible for evaluating, selecting and pricing commercial accounts in New York.

Our ideal candidate will be flexible, have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a team environment, and have a demonstrated ability to build agency relationships and grow a book of business. Excellent customer service and organizational skills, strong PC skills with experience in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical ability are required. A bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in all lines of commercial property and casualty underwriting are preferred.
