Design Drawing Instructor

Established in 1929, Academy of Art University is the largest accredited private art and design school in the US.

• Fundamentals of perspective and drawing construction as they relates to design
• Basic shading and rendering, understanding of values and reflections.
• Applied to basic primitives and more complex forms (rectilinear and organic) as semester progresses
• Help to develop visual communication through various techniques (e.g. exploded views, auxiliary views, three-quarter views)
• An understanding of how to communicate materials, textures, and finishes through traditional drawing methods
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-3 years industrial design experience
• Strong verbal and written skills required
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience preferred
