Janitorial Manager

ABM is currently hiring for a Management position within a large semiconductor company in Austin, TX and will be responsible for leading the janitorial teams on-site. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure conformance to customer contract requirements and the candidate must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Coordinate cleaning services activities as contracted.
• Manages and provides leadership to Supervisors, and Lead personnel assigned to the buildings.
• Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications.
• Communicate and interact with janitorial teams and customers daily in a professional manner.
• Manage the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.
• Conduct cleaning inspections at assigned buildings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
• Ensure time keeping is accurate and submitted on time.
• Initiate and complete personnel actions.

Minimum Requirements

• Bilingual – Spanish/English – Both in spoken and written.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a janitorial environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Have a working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
• Basic computer and email skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in high tech manufacturing facilities is a plus.
