Summary
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for the service and retrofit/replacement of commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment. Requirements for these career opportunities include great customer service skills and at least (3) years of commercial HVAC/R service and installation experience. EPA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance/service at customer locations. * Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, modifications and repairs to HVAC commercial equipment. * Determine parts for in field repairs. * Accurately communicate and discuss work performed with customers and internal management. * Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner. * Nights/Weekends On Call rotation. * Job duties may be modified at any time.
Ideal Candidate
* High school or technical school graduate and or engineering degree. * Must have a minimum of five (5) Years minimum experience – Commercial / Industrial experience required. * Strong customer service skills. * Must be self-motivated and a great communicator. * Skills will consist of starting up a variety of HVAC equipment such as Water Source Heat Pumps, Package Units, and Splits Systems. Direct experience required. * Must understand basic controls of such systems and knowledge of how to use gages, add refrigerate, and how to use a vacuum pump. Good driving record required.
