Senior UX Designer

80TWENTY is a creative, marketing, advertising, and fashion staffing agency with in San Francisco and operates in Los Angeles, New York, and in Bay area.Our talent is avalable on freelance, freelance-to-hire, or on full-time basis.

One of our clients, a home goods GIANT, is looking for a Senior UX Designer for a 2.5 year contract. They are looking for someone who has either point of sale experience, mobile/tablet, or has worked on more complex applications, and has experience working with 3rd party software vendors.

• Use a deep knowledge of design principles and human behavior to describe your design rationale
• Understand the needs of our customers and associates
• Synthesize customer feedback, research, and analytics into actionable results
• Lead the user experience for our store point of sale system including touch screen, mobile, and in-home.
• Build relationships and work with product managers, researchers, technologists, outside vendor and our brands
• Create wireframes, specifications, audits, heuristic evaluations, task flows, and prototypes

• 6+ years of experience in user experience design • Experience working on complex projects across multiple domain areas
• Demonstrated fluency in best practices for web-based, mobile, and software user experience design
• Experience with tools like Visio, Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, Azure, Hype
• Understand the capabilities and limitations of HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience in usability testing and user research a plus
