Telecommunications (Telecom) Attorney

A full service global 100 law firm, accustomed to regularly handling high stakes litigation and complex corporate transactions is seeking a Telecommunications (Telecom) Attorney for its Appellate practice in Washington, D.C.

In this role, the Telecom Attorney will gain substantial responsibility and focus on technology and telecommunications appellate matters involving the Federal Arbitration Act and First Amendment. The successful candidate will work directly with partners and have ample opportunity for client contact while working on stimulating questions of law.

* 2+ years of telecommunication experience as an attorney with a focus on appellate litigation in a large law firm setting. * Experience in administrative law, judicial review of agency actions, and/or federal statutory claims is preferred; * Federal clerkship experience is a plus. Juris Doctorate degree with distinguished academics from a top tier law school. * Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with the ability to be barred in the District of Columbia is required. * Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
