4moms is looking for an Industry Professional who is passionate about consumer driven soft goods executions that drive brand equity and consumer preference. The right person will have strong conceptual, 2D visualization (sketching) and communication skills, the ability to develop and sew prototypes, be comfortable working on fast paced, cross functional teams and have a leadership approach toward the design process. As part of the Industrial Design team, this person will support and work closely with the Soft Goods Designers and Product Managers to conceptualize, design, and develop new products. **What you’ll be doing:** - Hand draft and update full pattern sets - Build prototypes, iterate and supporting the finishing touches - Source and develop new materials, textiles, trims, and fabrication techniques. - Balance multiple projects with exemplary time management skills, keep track of prototypes, samples and their individual specifications. - Keep extensive notes on the development of projects throughout the iteration process. - Correspond with international team members and overseas vendors including travel to coordinate manufacturing

- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design or related - 0-3 years of sewing craftsmanship experience along with physical samples or record of items made; samples must include attention to fine details. - Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - Experience in soft goods design manufacturing; the ability to create design specs, tech packs, and variance reports - Knowledge of industry trends in best designing practices. - Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills - Warm, friendly, energetic personality with a creative flare. - Passion for sewing, materials, industrial design
