Sales Representative

The Sales Representative at 3M Hawaii will be responsible for calling on end users customers and distributors located in Hawaii, Alaska and Guam. This position drives profitable business sales in assigned geography, accounts and/or distribution.

• Sales of commercial cleaning, purification and food safety products such as: pads, chemicals, filters etc.
• Understanding of customer processes and being able to sell “value versus price”
• Working with distribution, end users, material approvals, making joint calls, and providing product training to customers
• Driving forecast attainment for the zone/territory assigned
• Collaborating and leveraging Minneapolis-based divisional resources in marketing, sales, technical service, etc.

• Three (3) years of combined experience in end user oriented sales process.
• Outstanding sales preparation and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote sales team environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years post-high school education from an accredited university
• Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience
• A valid and unrestricted driver's license

Critical Skills:

• Excellent computer skills
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Motivation to take an active role in self-development, online learning, etc.
