3M is seeking an Electrical and Controls Mechanic for the Electronics and Energy Business Group located in Decatur, AL. Ready to be part of what’s next?

- Install, modify and upgrade electrical, electronic and computer equipment. - Troubleshoot malfunctions in operating equipment - Perform tests and inspections of equipment and preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation of equipment - Calibrate and certify shop and process equipment - Troubleshoot, maintain and repair AC and DC electrical systems, PLC’s, HMI’s, motors, controls, VFD’s and related equipment - Assist in developing plans to correct equipment deficiencies - Maintain good record keeping systems - Oversee contracted work, and work with multiple groups around the plant - This position may require multi-craft certification training which will be provided by 3M. The training must be completed within one year of the course start date - Other duties as assigned or necessary

**Basic Qualifications:** - Possess a high school diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution - Minimum four (4) years of experience in industrial electrical and controls maintenance OR Associate Degree (AAS) in electrical technology with experience in a work study program **Preferred Qualifications:** - Possess an Associate Degree in electrical technology - Possess an Associate Degree in mechanical technology - Minimum four (4) years of Multi Craft experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
