Configuration Management Specialist - Jr. Level

Founded in 2003, 3 Phoenix, Inc. (3Pi) is a small business focused on providing technology products and services to the Department of Defense and Industry.

Under the direct supervision of the CM Manager this position will be primarily responsible for supporting the company’s Source Code Management (SCM) activities.

• Hands-on experience in customizing SCM tools to reflect a process workflow by creating and maintaining Users, Triggers, User Roles, Notification mechanisms etc.
• A Solid Understanding of CM best practice principles.
• Clear understanding of SW development practices and lifecycles.
• Experience with basic Linux System administration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with technical project leads, developers, and test team members.

• BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or related or equivalent experience.
• 0 - 5 years direct work experience implementing and administering SCM systems.
• Experience with SCM tools like: Surround SCM, PVCS, ClearCase, CVS, etc.
• Strong attention to details, highly organized.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate personnel clearance (i.e. U.S. Citizenship required)
