Summary
This position is responsible for conducting organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
* Development and integration of Quality Management system determining process capability and execution performance. * Development and implementation of on-boarding process for new factory employees including the creation of a skills lab. * Management Opportunities for Improvements (OFI) critical to achieving the Corporate Strategic Plan. * Gather and organize information on problems or procedures. * Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding. * Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. * Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection and retrieval of records and assure compliance with program. * Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes.. * Contribute to the Lean Manufacturing initiative that is underway.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university desired. * 5+ years of related managerial experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Prefer Wood or related but open. * Must have been QM! * Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Sales Logic, Excel and Microsoft Word. * Ability to meet deadlines and department expectations. * Results oriented while maintaining attention to detail. * Ability to follow processes and directions while demonstrating a willingness to learn. * Strong verbal, written and organizational skills. * Ability to solve problems in high stress, fast-paced environment. * Teamwork skills.

Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation
