The Staff Accountant must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing environments and priorities.

* Assist the Accounting team with the day-to-day operations by interfacing with individuals within and outside of the business to ensure proper treatment of accounting transactions * Review expense reports and supplier invoices to ensure proper coding to the general ledger, specifically as it relates to capitalized assets * Prepare monthly accruals and fixed assets registration & reconciliation * Assist with monthly and quarter-end close, including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations and G/L variance analysis * Interact with external audit team as needed * Assist in the preparation of financial statement footnotes * Assist in documentation, performance and monitoring of financial internal controls * Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects where needed

**Things That Should Be in Your Background:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, preferred * 4-5 years of accounting-related experience * CPA candidate **Other Attributes That Will Help You in This Role:** * Strong verbal and written communication skills * The ability to multi-task * Willingness to learn new skills * Proficiency with Excel * Team-oriented person who can focus on the details
