As a Gameplay Capture Lead, you are someone who not only has a deep passion for games, but also has an eye for composition, visual storytelling, video editing, and strong knowledge of all digital entertainment media platforms. You are the type of person who thrives in an environment where you are directing a team and managing several deliverable across multiple projects without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities
• Direct and edit in-game media capture for use in a variety of public, internal, and development projects (Trailers, Tutorials, Advertising, B-Roll, Gameplay Images, Concepts, Video Storyboarding) • Edit, quality check, and prepare finalized media for delivery • Direct, train, and mentor new gameplay Capture Specialists • Liaise between the development teams and various other internal clients to deliver brand-consistent content • Work closely with the Media Producer to plan, maintain, and execute project timelines
Ideal Candidate
Equal parts platoon sergeant and dance choreographer, the Capture Lead knows how to rally a team and keep a group on task in order to create high quality visuals for our game titles. The role requires that you are assertive - a natural leader who can earn the respect of the team by doing as well as saying. And you are a creative beast, able to conceive scenarios and action, based on work briefs from the Media Producer, and then choreograph the team towards successful shots. **Minimum Requirements:** * A passion for all things video games * Minimum 2 years in a video editing role * Team management/leadership experience * An eye for composition and visual storytelling * Strong knowledge in the following: * Adobe Premiere Pro * Adobe Photoshop (Image Cleanup and Color Correction) * Adobe Media Encoder * Capture Hardware/Software (FRAPS, Shadowplay, KiPro, etc.) * Deep knowledge of video technologies, codecs, asset management, and upcoming tech trends * Basic understanding of audio editing
