FOX Sports Interactive is seeking a Systems Administrator to support FOX Sports Interactive and WhatIfSports. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure to support platform and game development and other initiatives. The position will be based in Cincinnati, OH.
- Installation, configuration, administration and management of hardware and software to support our application development and operations.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing our corporate, test and production environments
- Develop and configure tools to aid and automate the deployment, management and monitoring of our environments.
- Aid in the management of Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policies, DNS and replication.
- Monitoring and maintaining unit backups.
- Software image creation and maintenance.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of environment.
- Working with hosting providers and vendors to support our products.
- Other duties / projects as assigned.
- B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science or related.
- Strong knowledge of managing Windows Operating System and application environments.
- Strong knowledge of scripting, task automation and command line usage, with a focus on PowerShell and Windows batch.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows server applications such as SQL Server and IIS.
- Knowledge of Linux and Unix-like environments.
- Strong understanding of network switching, routing, and protocols.
- Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Rackspace Cloud).
- Experience with virtualization technologies with a preference to Hyper-V.
- Experience with configuration and management software System Center family and WSUS.
