Director, Marketplace Strategy

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory data and make recommendations for new dealers and categories on the site
- Translate inventory trends into actionable recommendations for dealers and account managers
- Determine (in partnership with dealer marketing) dealer communication plans and talking points for major company initiatives
- Gather and interpret case studies and other material to drive dealer behavior
- Oversee and contribute to the development of analytics tools for dealers
- Lead discrete strategy projects relating to the growth of 1stdibs' supply, for example growth plans for new and existing verticals
- Research and provide findings on ad hoc projects that impact dealers, inventory and business operations
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred
- 6+ years experience in marketplace, supply, or inventory, and ecommerce
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, Salesforce a plus
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to convey information in a digestible format
- Passionate and knowledgeable about antique and vintage decorative arts and furniture
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across levels and functions
- Enthusiasm and aptitude for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; highly self-directed and results-oriented
