Summary

This position is responsible for day-to-day HR operations including on-boarding, employee records and changes, and terminations. You will be the front-line resource for employees and managers with questions about HR programs/processes, providing highly trusted and value-added customer service. The nature of your work is highly confidential requiring a high degree of tact, judgement, and accuracy and close collaboration with other teams including Finance, Payroll and Recruiting. The successful candidate for this role will have an analytical mind to help improve and automate HR functions.

Responsibilities
  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision; life insurance; short and long-term disability, worker’s compensation, EAP, etc.
  • Conduct audits, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, benefit plans, and provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act and or other programs and recommend corrective action
  • Research & respond to HR and employee-related questions for employees, managers, and executives (e.g. benefits, immigration/visa process, HR programs, company policies/practices)
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and exit interviews
  • Monitor and maintain employee data and records to accurately reflect the constantly changing organization
  • Create, route, file, audit, & enter employee changes and partner with payroll to ensure timely and error free payments
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards from various HR systems.
  • Audit employee data in the HRIS to confirm data integrity, prepare and distribute HR metrics and evaluate HR effectiveness through data analysis
  • Participate in planning, developing, maintaining and documenting various HR processes (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Handbook, Org charts, etc.)
  • Develop, implement and maintain social and wellness programs, build relationships with employees at all levels
  • Manage monthly publication of employee newsletter
Ideal Candidate

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years working experience in human resources and administration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and HR systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR programs, services, policies, and practices and/or where to obtain information
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to consolidate, reconcile and interpret data using various HR systems & tools
  • Builds and maintains trust through reliable delivery of products and services
  • Possesses a professional demeanor, poise under pressure with demonstrated ability to produce high quality, accurate, and error free output
  • Has the proven ability to work in many different aspects of HR simultaneously, meet milestones and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Has an attention to detail with excellent organization/follow up skills
  • Fosters an environment of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Has the ability to build positive working relationships and ability to work with different working styles
