Summary
We’re looking for a Social Media Developer to help our team create and integrate applications for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You should know the various APIs available from social media sites and already have experience integrating them in applications. As Developer, you’d be responsible for programming, debugging, and testing what you create. You’ll be expected to play well with the Creative and Strategy Teams.
Responsibilities
* Read technical specs and make stuff work * Create HTML / CSS templates based on W3C standards and best practices * Code interactive applications, modules, and frameworks using Actionscript for Flash/Flex * Test all the modules you create * Collaborate with a creative team
Ideal Candidate
* 2–5 years of agency (or in-house) interactive experience * No fear of technical specs * Strong grasp of Twitter and Faceboook API, JAVA J2EE, CSS and Javascript * Ability to create HTML / CSS templates based on W3C standards and best practices. * Familiarity with industry-standard graphics tools (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator) * Familiarity with JavaScript and advanced web concepts, such as AJAX, plus knowledge of W3C standards and best practices * Fluent in SEO best practices * Familiarity with XML, SQL and understanding of database concepts * Desire to thrive in a high-pressure, timeline-driven, client-services environment * Ability to meet and beat deadlines * Bonus Points * Social geek with Klout * Eternal optimist and team-player * Viral video watcher * Fluent in Klingon
