Job Purpose: This role serve as an infrastructure engineer to develop training scenarios for the Project Ares platform that provide realistic role-based training for cybersecurity professionals.

Position Summary
Circadence Content Development is seeking a new member for our team to .serve as an infrastructure engineer to develop training scenarios for the Project Ares platform that provide realistic role-based training for cybersecurity professionals Work with one or more domain experts to develop and implement high-fidelity environments with fully realized network services, where the team can implement automated adversaries, event telemetry for progress and learning evaluation, and deploy cutting-edge industry tools and techniques. This is a full-time, remote work position.
Responsibilities/Duties
Deploy solutions using Cloud (Azure) or tradition on-premise virtualization
Create high-fidelity networks using IaaS solutions to replicate business networks, SCADA networks, and other IoT/operational and platform implementations
Analyze cyber training outcomes to determine necessary training architecture, including network and security architectures and operating systems/software
Create emulated systems and data to replicate real-world systems and networks
Develop solutions using test-driven development techniques, including development of unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and regression tests
Integrate Automated Testing into Integration Pipelines
Leverage virtualization and containerization to develop and deploy cost-effective training environments
Work with XML, CSS, YAML, Salt, Python, traffic generation, and other technologies to deliver training scenarios that meet defined outcomes
Interface with clients to refine training requirements at the technical level
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
Desired
Understanding of software development best practices and how to apply them
Knowledge of Git and experience working with VSTS/Azure DevOps, or other similar programs to track tasks and manage code
Some experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
Acquaintance with NIST concepts for cyber security and cyber security work roles
Required
BS in STEM with 5+ years of experience OR equivalent
Functional understanding of cybersecurity principles and challenges
High proficiency with Python and familiar with other coding/scripting languages
Ability to work with and coordinate a team of developers toward a common goal
Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Willingness to innovate in the absence of well-defined project requirements
Extensive experience with virtualization, IaaS, and PaaS cloud (Azure preferred)
Experience using automation, orchestration, configuration management and provisioning tools such as Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, SaltStack
Proficiency in building Linux and Windows systems
Passion for and ability to work with software development teams releasing production-ready software on a daily basis
Experience with continuous integration and orchestration tools
Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases (Jetty, Tomcat, Nginx, Mongrel, Microsoft IIS, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Must be able to work overtime as well as weekends when needed
Have home office dedicated to working with teams, groups in a telecommute setting.
Ability to work 40 hours with overtime as needed.
